I purchased a new suit for my son on sale at Dillard's. After alteration we went to pick it up and tried it on but the altered suit did not fit.
The department manager located another suit in a nearby city but did not have the ability to transfer the merchandise from the other store, so I drove to the other store, purchased the suit, brought it to the original store to get the sale credit since the sale date had passed. The second attempt at fitting and alterations was successful and 5 weeks after the original sale we had the suit we wanted.
My son had to drive back from school, 3 hours each way, for 2 more times for refitting and I had to drive to pickup the new suit; over $150 in gas, not to mention the cost of time lost.
